Clean and Simple Hibiscus

Hello! Here is another card I made for the Altenew Educator certification. This one is for the Clean and Simple Boutique card. I am smitten with this stamp set and I like the technique of using the stamp to make your own background. This one was very easy, fun and beautiful! And it uses very few materials.
Also, check out my Instagram for more inspiration! sparkle.craft.happiness. Feel free to leave me a comment. I love hearing from you!

1. Stamp flowers and butterfly on your card

2. Stamp flowers and butterfly on separate sheet and fussy cut

2. Use distress oxide tattered rose and wilted violet

3. Adhere additional flowers and butterfly. As you can see, I only adhered the middle to make the layering effect more pronounced.

4. Die cut sentiment and adhere paper piece that has been shaded with distress oxide tattered rose

5. Use black and white paper to help colors pop (psst... I got this from a Halloween Pad! LOL)

6. Use sequins to help card pop. Use wink of stella on butterfly to add shimmer

Mood Inspired

Hello Crafty friends!! I am so excited to pass the level 1 classes and test with Altenew! I am now working through courses on the level II. I was inspired by the "In the Mood to Color Class". I thought about what I do in my everyday life, which is to support people struggling with mental health. I created a card thinking of that using the following colors: Blue: Tranquility Pink: Caring Yellow: Optimism  For this card I die cut the tulips and used Distress Inks to color the flower and leaves. Then I die cut the frilly frame and used the flowers to adorn the frame. I used a cover plate to create the background and there placed the die and flowers. Then I added the sentiment and some baubles. For this card I wanted convey maintaining serenity, care and a bit of hopefulness peeking through.  Materials:   Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Tulip Full Bloom Layering Die Set Altenew - Cutting Dies - Frilly Frame Die Altenew Scripted Sentiments Die Set Waffle Flower Sweet Plaid Cover Die ...
