Celebrate in every color



 

Hello! Here is another card I made for the Altenew Educator certification. This one is for the die cutting course. I loved this die and the rainbow theme. I liked the tips offered throughout the class including using dies with vellum to layer.

1. Die cut Christmas trees

2. Use distress oxide spun sugar,  dried marigold, squeezed lemonade, milled lavender, and tumbled glass for die cuts

3. Use nuvo drops for snow effect

4. Use opaque paste for snow, sprinkle a tad of glitter

5. Due cut letters, die black cut letters for shadows, color with same distress oxide

6. Use black and white paper and silver glitter paper for matting

7. Die cut scalloped slimline die with pearlized vellum

7. Adhere iridescent snowflakes and all pieces

Hello Crafty friends!! I am so excited to pass the level 1 classes and test with Altenew! I am now working through courses on the level II. I was inspired by the "In the Mood to Color Class". I thought about what I do in my everyday life, which is to support people struggling with mental health. I created a card thinking of that using the following colors: Blue: Tranquility Pink: Caring Yellow: Optimism  For this card I die cut the tulips and used Distress Inks to color the flower and leaves. Then I die cut the frilly frame and used the flowers to adorn the frame. I used a cover plate to create the background and there placed the die and flowers. Then I added the sentiment and some baubles. Beach Please

I thought about this one and how to make it different from all the really neat art I have seen others make with this floatie. I wanted to make it look like a glam flamingo with sequins. Hope you like it!     1. Die cut and colored the floatie      2. Color and die cut pool party pals     2. For the Guys Part 1

Hello Crafty Friends! After completing all Academy 1 courses for the Altenew Educator Certified Program (AECP). Now the final challenge includes the following: Create a gift set that includes 4-6 "His" and 4-6 "Hers" Select 3 components from the Academy 1 courses to include for your final project Use upcycled material in the card design element or in the final packaging  For the "His" cards I decided to create a set of every-day cards.
