Mother love


 I had my little one in mind when I created this one. There is so much to enjoy of them and they grow so   fast. They fill your heart and drive you nuts all at the same time. 

1. I used clear embossing powder to stamp the background

2. Used distress ink to color the background as well as heart die

3. Used copics to color the kangaroo and joey

4. Used clear gloss over heart

Materials: MFT Stamp Never ending love, Tracey Hey Be Fierce, SSS sketch heart die, distress ink chipped sapphire, antique linen, and savaged patina, modascrap creative circles die, Gina K double stitch circle die, copic markers Wow Clear embossing powder, Ranger clear gloss

Hello Crafty friends!! I am so excited to pass the level 1 classes and test with Altenew! I am now working through courses on the level II. I was inspired by the "In the Mood to Color Class". I thought about what I do in my everyday life, which is to support people struggling with mental health. I created a card thinking of that using the following colors: Blue: Tranquility Pink: Caring Yellow: Optimism  For this card I die cut the tulips and used Distress Inks to color the flower and leaves. Then I die cut the frilly frame and used the flowers to adorn the frame. I used a cover plate to create the background and there placed the die and flowers. Then I added the sentiment and some baubles. For the Guys Part 1

Hello Crafty Friends! After completing all Academy 1 courses for the Altenew Educator Certified Program (AECP). Now the final challenge includes the following: Create a gift set that includes 4-6 "His" and 4-6 "Hers" Select 3 components from the Academy 1 courses to include for your final project Use upcycled material in the card design element or in the final packaging  For the "His" cards I decided to create a set of every-day cards. These can be used to say hello, I appreciate you, I love you, thank you etc. I incorporated multiple elements from the classes: For the Guys:  I used geometric patterns and a cool color palette Easy Die Cutting Techniques :  I used dies to create all the geometric shapes including circles, hexagons. heart and arch. Thank you teachers

  My husband could not wrap his brain around this one. I love the charm of the oddballs! I had fun with this one and was happy that it came out much better than what I initially had in mind. I guess that's the beauty of creativity! One never knows the exact destination.  1. Use embossing powder to stamp background stamp.
